Festivals and Competitions Partnership

Your team publishes; Music8 provides the platforms and support

£480 / HK$4,880 per year

  • One named festival or competition and its annual edition or programme for 12 months
  • Initial onboarding and an enhanced organisational LivePage
  • Music8 Partner designation for that festival or competition
  • Self-service publishing through Music8 Console: news, concerts and events, entry calls, deadlines, opportunities and results
  • Links to your own ticketing and application pages
  • Placement on CHORALLY, MUSIC:ED or ArtsCSR where the content is relevant

Covers one named festival or competition, not an organiser’s wider portfolio. Console user allowance follows the standard Partner arrangement. Prices exclude VAT or local taxes where applicable.

How it might look

Illustrative programme examples

A choral festival

A week-long choral festival lists each evening concert, a conducting masterclass and community workshops individually on CHORALLY, with booking links to its own box office and a news post announcing the line-up.

A competition

A young musicians’ competition publishes its entry call and deadline on MUSIC:ED, linking to its application site, then shares the finalists and results on the same LivePage later in the year.

One named festival or competition publishing its annual programme itself.

  • Managed campaign

    By quotation

Questions

Can we list multiple concerts?

Yes. Every concert, masterclass, workshop and event in the named festival’s annual programme can have its own listing.

Does it work for competitions?

Yes. You can publish the entry call, application deadline, rules and repertoire links, then announce finalists and results.

What does the 12 months cover?

Twelve months from the start of your partnership, covering that year’s edition or programme and the announcements around it.

We run several festivals or brands. Is one partnership enough?

The partnership covers one named festival or competition. Organisers with several festivals, or year-round institutions, should look at Music8 Partner or managed support.

Is this self-service or managed?

Self-service: your team publishes through Console. Writing, managed campaigns, commissioned features, featured placements and newsletter or social promotion are available separately by quotation.

Which Music8 platforms will we appear on?

Where your content fits: CHORALLY for choral activity, MUSIC:ED for education and training, ArtsCSR for sponsorship, philanthropy and social impact. Not everything appears everywhere.

Do you sell tickets or manage applications?

No. Listings link to your own ticketing or application site. Music8 is not ticketing or competition administration software.

Is editorial coverage included?

Publishing follows normal moderation and editorial relevance. Interviews, features and endorsement are not included or guaranteed, and we can’t promise particular traffic, reach or ticket sales.
