Preparing a job listing for Music8
What to have ready before you submit a vacancy to Music8, and what the standard £120 + VAT job listing includes.
What to have ready
- Job title: the recognisable title candidates will search for.
- Location: city and country, plus whether the role is on-site, hybrid or remote.
- Salary: a figure, range or fee, with currency and basis (per annum, per session, pro rata).
- Closing date: the final date for applications, or “open until filled” if rolling.
- Employer short profile: two or three sentences about your organisation, plus your logo and website.
- Summary: a short paragraph describing the role, shown in listings and previews.
- Full description: responsibilities, requirements, terms and any benefits.
- Application link: a working URL or email address where candidates apply.
Tips for each field
Keep the summary under around 60 words, as it appears in search results and on social media.
Check the application link works when logged out, and that attached documents open.
If the closing date changes, tell us so the listing stays accurate. Closed jobs are removed from public lists.
What the standard job listing includes
A standard job listing costs £120 + VAT (HK$1,280). It includes one job listing on the relevant Music8 platform or platforms, such as MUSIC:ED or CHORALLY, and one LinkedIn post linking to the vacancy.
It does not include repeated posts or a guaranteed audience or reach. Selected wider editorial or social amplification is available only where explicitly included in a higher-tier partnership.
Once it is live
Your vacancy appears on the relevant platform and in the group-wide jobs list at music8.group/jobs until its closing date.
